Parasomnia Section General Info
The parasomnia section is one of the eight membership sections of the
American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Our overall aim is to provide a channel of communication between our
members and the AASM, and to promote collaboration among members
of our section and across sections.
The section covers topics related to abnormal sleep related movements,
behaviors, emotions, perceptions, dreaming, and autonomic nervous
system functioning. Information is distributed through various venues
such as sessions during the APSS meetings and the online discussion
forum.
